Village Underground in Shoreditch

Village Underground was originally a viaduct (a bridge composed of small spans of crossing, according to Wikipedia) built in 1848. Left derelict for a number of years, the space was renovated in 2007 and is now a multi-purpose space – part gallery, part night club, part concert venue, part theatre – all around impressive creative space.

The VU regularly alternates music and club nights – click here for listings.
