From our guest blogger, Alvi Rahman:

We still have spots for our Cambridge and Punting trip! You’ll be going on a guided tour around famous landmarks around the beautiful college town of Cambridge as well as a punting tour. The trip will be on September 28 so book your tickets on your Personal Page today!

The Social Programme presents Cambridge and Punting on September 28th. Cambridge is one of the most beautiful college towns in Europe. The punting tour runs on the River Cam through the heart of Cambridge. You’ll be on a traditional Cambridge Punt with a tour guide and will be led through the famous Cambridge landmarks; King’s College Chapel, The Wren Library at Trinity College and the Bridge of Sighs just to name a few. You will also be on a guided walking tour – one of the sites you will see is the King’s College Chapel. This is one of the best examples of late Gothic architecture and was started in 1446 by Henry VI taking over a century to build. It boasts the largest fan vault in the world and an array of stunning medieval stained glass.
