BU London Alum: Kingdom of Fire & Clay

Former BU London student, Zachary Scwartz, is now working with St Ethelburga’s Centre for Reconciliation and Peace and would like to offer BU London students an opportunity to to attend their ‘The Sound of Your Story’ workshop this March (watch the trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytY3ez-OpNs&feature=youtu.be).

Here are some details on the program: “The Kingdom of Fire and Clay”

The Sound of Your Story

The workshop is led by two young and dynamic professionals, Storyteller/Actor Raphael Rodan and Musician/Composer Anastasis Sarakatsanos. It is the result of their fruitful collaboration during the past 4 years.

In the workshop we will be exploring the harmonious relationship between storytelling and music.

Exploring the theme of conflict and asking the question “what makes us separate from the other?”, the participants will share memories from their lives and find out how the power of storytelling and music can bring those memories into life and lead into a better understanding of ourselves and “the other”.

As this dialogue workshop can only accommodate 30 participants, we have decided to allot twenty spaces exclusively to BU abroad students, at a discounted rate. This is an opportunity to engage international students in a dialogue with a centre that quite literally brings all parts of London under one roof. Contact Sarah Farrow for tickets.
