WiFi in your building

A note about WiFi in the halls: In order to get the fastest connection possible, you need to connect to the access point closest to you. Typically, this is the one with the strongest signal strength, but if you want to be sure, all our WiFi access points are labelled – see which is nearest to you.

Devices often default to whatever access point they used to get onto the internet the first time you were in an area. For example, if the first time you logged onto the internet in your building the lobby and you take your device to your room, if the signal is strong enough the device will still use that access point all the way down in the lobby unless you change the access point. There are also ethernet cords available in your rooms and the front desk of the Crofton for faster (though less mobile) connectivity.
