London’s markets are renowned for their eclectic eccentricity, vintage treasures, and absolutely delicious (cheap) food.
Many of you will have been to Borough Market, Camden Market, and maybe even Brick Lane so you know what we’re talking about. For the more adventurous, we’d recommend you head south of the river to Brixton. You can get there via the Victoria Line quite easily.
Brixton is vibrant, diverse area with an up-and-coming art scene, which is evident in it’s market. Check out the Food Corner Wednesday – Friday for lunch, or if you’re in the market for inexpensive locally-sourced food, the Farmer’s Market on Sunday. The market also has a fab selection of vintage clothes accessories, books, and decorations if you’re more in a shopping mood. For all market information, please click here.
